  1. Hi JoAnna! It was so good to see you and hear all about the farm. You don't know how I wish I lived where I could have a garden so I could can veggies like you do. I used to can green beans, tomatoes, tomato juice, freeze corn and okra. I grew up helping my mom and dad garden and have always had a love for raising my own food. Sadly, I don't have space to do it anymore though. My mouth was watering just listening to you talk about the different green beans. My favorite meal is green beans with new potatoes cooked on top of them, fried okra, a skillet of cornbread, new onions, cucumbers, and tomatoes. Oh, and a few ears of corn. Now that's good eatin'!!!!!!!! I hope you can have some podcast with just your gardening. I love knitting, but it's fun to see the gardening side too. And all your animals...sheep, goats, chickens! I've never seen sheep shearing in person, but it does look hard to do.

The project bag I got from you has so far held 3 different shawls! I love it. I think for Easter you should make a project bag with the cute little chicks that you lined my bag with on the outside and maybe line it in natural muslin or navy blue since the little chicks are navy blue outlined. That is the sweetest lining, the little chicks!

Glad it's finally starting to feel like spring up there. The last two days here in my little corner of TN has been 70!!!! I think everyone is ready for springtime to hurry and get here.

Take care and I enjoyed "visiting" with you on this episode!
